Virtual Patrol & the SOC

Live operators in the SAVS Security Operations Center monitor your cameras, run scheduled virtual patrol tours, and talk down issues in real time — escalating to patrol and dispatch when a property needs boots on the ground.

Why SAVS

Built for the post

Live camera monitoring

Your existing cameras are watched by live SAVS operators in the SOC during the hours your plan covers.

Scheduled virtual patrol tours

Operators run scheduled tours of your camera views, checking the areas a physical patrol would check, on a set cadence.

Talk-down by live operators

When an operator sees loitering or trespassing, a live operator speaks through the site audio to direct people off the property.

Escalation to patrol and dispatch

When a situation needs a physical response, the SOC escalates to SAVS patrol and dispatch — monitoring and response, working together.

What’s included

  • Live camera monitoring — operator monitoring of your camera system during covered hours.
  • Scheduled virtual patrol tours — recurring operator tours of key camera views, logged per tour.
  • Live talk-down — a real operator addresses people on site through talk-down audio when activity is observed.
  • Escalation to patrol & dispatch — observed incidents are escalated to mobile patrol and dispatch for a physical response when needed.
  • Incident documentation — events observed on camera are documented for management.

Your cameras, watched live

Virtual patrol works with the camera views already on your property — monitored by live operators, not left unwatched.

From the field to the desk

What operators see and what officers respond to runs through Guard Command HQ, so an observation becomes a documented response.

Questions

Frequently asked

Is virtual patrol recorded video review, or live?
Live. SAVS operators monitor cameras in real time, run scheduled virtual tours, and can talk down to a site while an incident is happening. Recorded review alone is not virtual patrol.
What happens when an operator sees something?
The operator can talk down to the site live, document the incident, and escalate to SAVS mobile patrol and dispatch when a physical response is needed.
Do I need new cameras?
Virtual patrol is built around the cameras already on your property. What your system needs is confirmed during a site assessment, before any monitoring plan is quoted.
Is monitoring available around the clock?
SAVS monitoring and dispatch are available 24/7. The hours covered for your property are set in your plan after the site assessment.
Can virtual patrol replace an on-site officer?
For some properties it can carry the coverage; for others it works best paired with mobile patrol or a standing post. We recommend the mix after a site assessment — not before we have seen the property.
